Dear member,

Send a letter Climate change is happening. Most recently, the Hong Kong Observatory told us that winter could disappear in 20 years. The government is amending the Air Pollution Control Ordinance to limit air pollutants from the two local power companies after 2010. Yet emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2), the major greenhouse gas (GHG) causing climate change, is not regulated at all.

Greenpeace is one of a coalition of six green groups asking for your help to ring a huge alarm bell in the ears of the HKSAR Government to get them to wake-up to climate change before it’s too late.

Send a letter to the Chief Executive and the Secretary of Environment Bureau today to demand the inclusion of CO2 emissions caps for power plants in the Air Pollution Control Ordinance. Together we can stop power companies cooking the climate!
